Based on the ST5 helmet design with an improved visor
system, the ST5 CMR continues to be the lightest in its
class. Constructed from a Carbon/Kevlar shell which
not only makes it extremely strong but also makes it the
lightest CMR helmet in its class - weighing an incredible
1200 grams. For extra safety the helmet comes with
a 3mm thick FIA approved visor, which locates on a
centrally located locking system.

The ST5 CMR Carbon incorporates cutting-edge PURO
technology into its carbon shell, ensuring exceptional
strength and lightweight construction providing maximum
protection without compromising on weight. Fitted with
EPS cheek pads that provide the best in lateral crash
safety while retaining the functionality of the earmuffs to
provide a comfortable aural environment. The helmet is
fitted with a 3mm thick FIA approved visor, which locates
on a centrally located locking system.

KJ-8 EVO
The KJ-8 EVO helmet is designed
specifically for the younger kart driver,
where it is required to use a lightweight
CMR 2016 approved helmet. The helmet
benefits from a soft internal lining and an
extremely good ventilation system, with
a number of suitable positioned vents to
optimise air flow and breathability. The
helmet features a unique visor locking
system giving a precise closure. A double
D-ring closure ensures a secure fit. The
helmet also comes with a unique colour
scheme to OMP and an Iridium and
clear visor.

5 • Arai CK-6
This karting specific helmet has been designed to conform to Snell-FIA CMR 2016
(Child Motorsport Helmet) approval. This standard has been put in place in order
to reduce the weight of helmets that are used by younger drivers as to reduce
the strain on their necks which are not strong enough to be able to withstand the
heavier weight adult helmets. While working with the FIA and Snell, Arai have
been able to develop the CK-6 and can offer it in extra extra small, a first for Arai.
It has many of the features that can be found on professional motorsport helmets
including a 4 point inlet and outlet ventilation system with 2 vents on the chin bar,
as well as a lightweight 2mm visor with tear off posts and a washable inner liner
made with Coolmax material for increased driver comfort.

Complying to the latest Snell homologation (CMR 2016), which is
recommended for all kart drivers and mandatory under the age of 16 years.
Manufactured from fibreglass and reinforced with Carbon Kevlar ensuring
maximum safety and protection whilst being incredibly light. The helmet
features a fully adjustable visor with Sparco’s unique closure system.
Ventilation is at a premium utilising 4 vents on the chin to optimise visor
clarity and a forced brow intake ensuring air flow to and around the head.
