The iNDi Seat kit has been used in all levels of motorsport, from entry level to the very highest professional level today which include these championships amongst many others:- F1, F2, F3, F4, Formula
Ford, LMP1/2/3, BTCC, GB3, GB4, Radical, Caterham, NASCAR & INDY Car.
Using their own unique resin and polyprop bead mix that is quick curing (from mixing to cured in 30
mins), the iNDi Seat can be made at any temperature range, making it the perfect solution whether
you’re at the workshop or trackside.
The iNDi Seat kit uses a vacuum casting bag with a unique bead and quick cure resin mix, making it
a simple and professional seat system to fit any driver into any race car. The iNDi Seat kit provides a
driver with an ‘indi’-vidual seating solution for the optimum racing position, support and safety. The
materials used in the iNDi Seat kit have been extensively tested at an FIA laboratory to ensure they
meet the correct requirements for motorsport use.

STEP 1 • Preparation
Cover anything sharp in the cockpit. Driver needs to wear their full race kit for the seat fitting.
STEP 2 • Practice Dry Fitting - No Resin
This is a bead volume check, it is a trial fitting with no resin at this stage. Pull a slight vacuum on the iNDi Seat,
and place the iNDi Seat into cockpit. By adjusting the vacuum and positioning beads, mould the driver. If too
many beads, empty accordingly and when the driver is happy with position, apply full vacuum. Exit driver.
Mark and measure key areas of thickness on the bag (back/ base/ legs etc)
STEP 3 • Mixing Resin and Water
Remove valve, mix resin in first (refer to volume chart in our instructions). Once beads are mixed with resin,
next mix in the water (refer to volume chart). You now have 25 minutes until the seat is fully cured.
STEP 4 • Fitting with Resin Mixed
Spread mix back to where it was using your pen marks and measurements.
Fit iNDi Seat back into car. Repeat fitting as per Step 2.
STEP 5 • Final fitting
When driver is happy with the position, maintain full vacuum until cured.
Driver needs to keep still and not move in the iNDi seat until the iNDi seat is fully cured.

STEP 6 • Cutting and Trimming iNDi Seat
Exit driver and remove cured iNDi Seat from the car. Cut away all excess material and the seat belt holes
required.
STEP 7 • Final Finishing
Smooth any bumps with a rasp/sand paper. Re-fit iNDi Seat back into car.
Check with driver all the trimming and cutting is ok.
2 • iNDi Cover
Flame resistant material specifically designed and used for the covering of
all iNDi seats. Featuring a honeycomb structure which reduces moisture
being trapped within the material twinned with a 3mm foam backing for extra
comfort and durability. iNDi seat recommend 1m x 1.5m to cover all iNDi seats
mentioned above. iNDi Cover is sold in 1 metre lengths and comes 1.5 meters in
width
