With over 1600 individual starter motor applications no matter
what your requirement is WOSP undoubtedly has the answer.
100% OE based units in 6, 12 and 24 volt varying from 1kw to
11kw there’s not much WOSP haven’t seen or done already. A
full range of custom-built units to suit low and medium volume
production runs, race, aviation, industrial, marine, agricultural,
plant, street performance, and vintage/historic/classic

Drawing from their 35 year experience of
manufacturing bespoke starter motors, the
latest development from WOSP is their 2.2kW
Axial starter motor. Available in 6, 12 or 24V
with a wound field motor means it is not
polarity sensitive, can be run in conjunction
with a bulkhead mounted solenoid and is even
available fully waterproof. Only 78mm in
diameter this unit has been designed to
combat the harshest environments, it is
completely ruggedised with an internal
solenoid and planetary gearbox.
In most cases there are several options of base model,
power and type available for each particular application to
accommodate any special requirements. The majority of WOSP
starters mount in a unique circular stepped register which
enables them to be spun 360 degrees on their own axis giving
the unit an infinite number of mounting positions which can
eliminate clearance issues.
