To comply with FIA App J regulations, fuel cells positioned within
the cockpit must be fitted with a fireproof and liquid proof case to
surround the fuel tank and its filler holes. It’s specifically engineered
to work seamlessly with all ATL 6 x 10 top plate configurations,
providing a robust and regulation-compliant solution to safeguard
the fill plate and filler. Equipped with a removable lid that allows for
straightforward access to fuel cells for maintenance and inspection.
Fitted with a spill outlet for effective drainage, coupled with
pass-through grommets for hose and wiring harnesses.

6 • Vortex Pro Top Plate
The ATL Vortex Pro is an innovative top plate design
gn that
utilises a venturi system feeding a unique pressurised
ised
accumulator in place of a collector fed by lift pumps.
This accumulator means no pressure dropouts att low
fuel loads and improved temperature characteristics.
Lower fuel temperatures practically eliminate the risk of
cavitation, ensuring consistent fuel pick-up. When used in
conjunction with a single external fuel pump, this system
not only reduces weight but also eliminates the need to
routinely access the internals of your fuel cell for fuel pump
maintenance or replacement.
