The 184mm range has two distinct clutch designs, the ‘A’ ring drive clutch which in some cases is available
with either steel or aluminium alloy covers, and the ‘Lug’ drive clutch which is available with a single piece
high strength aluminium alloy cover which incorporates the lug drive posts. In addition to the different
clutch covers within the range, these clutches are available in single, twin or triple plate options, and to suit
either sintered or cerametallic drive plates.

4 • Ceramic Rally Clutches
Tilton’s rally clutch range feature all the benefits listed above, but have a thicker drive plate
design allowing for the added stresses of rallying. A unique blend of ceramic and metallic
materials offer a superb balance of performance and drivability. These six paddle drive plates are

6 • Sintered Metallic Racing Clutches
Tiltons “OT” range of race clutches offer high strength one piece lightweight alloy covers and a
“lug” drive clutch design allows for cleaner and cooler operation. These individually balanced
clutches are designed to use sintered metallic drive plates that provide a very low rotating mass
and quick shifting. Drive plates are available to suit all popular spline applications separately,
