1 • Quick Release Fasteners
These provide a neat and quick release alternative to traditional bonnet
pins or panel fasteners. They are a 2-piece design comprising of a pin and
latch. The two parts snap together securely on a ball and socket fitting. To
release, simply press the button in the latch. This ball and socket fitting
provide high levels of misalignment and 360° rotation making them ideal
for awkward panel shapes. The latch also incorporates a spring loaded
‘damper’ to allow for some deflection on rigid panels.

These temporary, reusable fasteners
are the fabricators best friend. As you
drill holes that are to be riveted at a
later time, install the clamps using
Cleco pliers. The Cleco will clamp the
parts together and maintain perfect

This slide latch comprises of a sliding
bar which is supplied assembled to
a housing/mounting plate which is
riveted to the panel. This assembly
engages onto the supplied bush
which can be riveted or screwed to
the support member. The latch itself
is suitable for two conditions, the first
mounted on top of the panel, and the
second with the sliding bar turned the
other way up and then mounted at the
edge of the panel on the underside.

strength spring wire. Grip capacity is 0.75” at a maximum depth of 0.15”, so it can be
fastened through a hole in a 0.75” diameter shaft up to 0.15” in from the end of the
