To suit both Dzus fasteners (items 26 & 27) and the Lightweight
Aluminium 1/4 Turn Quick Release Fasteners (item 28).

To calculate the correct pairing of fastener and spring use the following
formula: Add together the thicknesses of both panels to be fastened and the
spring clearance. Subtract spring deflection (0.047” for 37mm overall head
size and 0.062” for 44mm overall head size). Then select the fastener with
the nearest shaft length.

• Camloc 1 / 4 Turn
(2600 Series) Fastener
Clearance
1/4 turn to lock, 1/4 turn to release. To determine
the correct stud part number, measure the
total thickness of both panels to be secured
allowing for paint or other protective finishes.
If the total thickness is near the upper limit of
the range then the next longer stud should be
used. Retaining washers which will hold the
stud tight against the outer panel are required
for studs with grip length 3.81mm or longer.
