Bilstein B6 dampers are high performance
monotube shock absorbers. Designed for fastroad driving, and to offer enhanced handling over
standard equipment. Monotube dampers have a
wider diameter piston area, and the oil and gas
have no opportunity to mix. This makes them
smooth and controlled and helps resist heat fade.

Bilstein B8 dampers are short-stroke monotube shock absorbers
designed for use with lowering springs. Their special short stroke
design means that they perfectly match lowering springs. While
these are likely to be firmer than your original equipment shock
absorbers, the monotube design means they stay smooth and
controlled. These have a shorter travel than B6s to better match
stiffer, lower springs. It also means they are not wearing out too
quickly because they are never fully extended.

The STR.T shock absorber by Koni is a nonadjustable performance shock absorber that is
compatible with OE springs or lowering springs.
The STR.T shock absorbers have two
construction types, Monotube and Twin-tube,
the Koni engineers choose the best construction

The Koni Sport shock absorber is an adjustable
shock absorber, in many cases they can be
adjusted externally for the rebound damping
force, meaning much like a coilover you can
adjust the damper to suit daily driving or fast
road/track day use. Match this shock absorber
with lowering springs and you will greatly
improve the handling capabilities of your vehicle
especially with the rebound adjustment feature.
